TopWare Entertainment legt, wie schon beim Rollenspielhit "Two Worlds", großen Wert auf eine hochwertige Lokalisation und hat für das Hack-and-Slash-Abenteuer "X-Blades" namhafte Synchronsprecher engagiert. So verhilft Shandra Schadt, unter anderem die deutsche Stimme von Jessica Alba, der charismatischen Protagonistin Ayumi zu einem ausdrucksstarken Auftritt. Für weitere Rollen wurden unter anderem Norman Matt, der als Sprecher von Guybrush Threepwood ("Monkey Island") unvergessen ist und in Filmen wie "Batman Begins" oder "X-Men" mitwirkte, sowie Tilo Schmitz, der als König Leonidas in "300" nachhaltigen Eindruck hinterlassen hat, verpflichtet. Insbesondere die zahlreichen, aufwändig inszenierten Zwischensequenzen im Animestil müssen sich somit hinter keinem Hollywoodstreifen verstecken.
