Toshiba Electronics Europe stellt auf der IFA 2014, in Halle 21A, unter anderem High-Speed-SD-Karten, die revolutionäre Wireless-Technologie TransferJet (TM), SDHC-Karten mit integrierter WLAN-Funktionalität und USB-3.0-Speichersticks vor.

Die SD-Karte EXCERIA PRO (TM) UHS-II bietet eine Schreibgeschwindigkeit von bis zu 240 MB/s und ermöglicht damit ultraschnelle Fotoaufnahmen oder 4K-Videoaufzeichnungen.

Die TransferJet-Technologie macht eine kabellose Punkt-zu-Punkt-Datenübertragung mit Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 560 Mbit/s möglich. Toshiba hat als erster Anbieter eine Single-Chip-TransferJet-Lösung auf den Markt gebracht, die alle für diese Nahbereichskommunikationstechnik benötigten Host-Interface-, Modem-, Baseband- und RF-Funktionen integriert. Verfügbar ist die Technologie in USB- und µUSB-Adaptern sowie in SD-Karten für Smartphones, Tablets und PCs.
