Zum Thema "Sehen und Gesehen werden" gehört es nicht nur, rechtzeitig das Licht einzuschalten, die Verkehrsexperten des TÜV Thüringen empfehlen Autofahrern für ausreichende Sicht zu sorgen. "Ein Eiskratzer gehört spätestens seit den ersten Nachtfrösten an Bord jedes Fahrzeuges", so Hesse.

Einige eilige Fahrzeugführer glauben, ein Sehschlitz in der Frontscheibe reicht zum Losfahren aus. Den Rest übernimmt dann Heizung und Gebläse. Aber, falsch gedacht. Laut StVO ist jeder Fahrzeugführer verpflichtet, eine vollständige Rundumsicht zu gewährleisten. "Das Fahrzeuggebläse kann lediglich beschlagene Scheiben beseitigen. Gegen vereiste Scheiben und Raureif hilft nur ein Eiskratzer", erklärt Torsten Hesse.
