Die Familie der Neigungssensoren ist nun durch ein spezielles Gerät erweitert worden. Mit dieser neuen Ausführung ist es möglich, in einer sich drehenden Applikation die momentane Ausrichtung – sprich die Neigung bzw. die Lage (360°) – und gleichzeitig exakt die Drehzahl zu erfassen.

Der Sensor wird im sich drehenden Teil montiert, wobei er nicht mittig auf der Drehachse platziert werden muss. Die eingesetzten Sensoren für Lage (Accelerometer) und Drehzahl (Gyroskop) sind MEMS-basiert. Optimiert ist der Sensor für nicht-reversierenden Betrieb und gibt seine Werte über CANopen oder PROFINET (auch PROFIsafe - PLd) an die Steuerung.
