SBB Software gewinnt Novartis als neuen Kunden

Das international tätige Softwareunternehmen SBB, das mit seinem Produkt UC4:global Technologieführer im Bereich Data Center Automation ist, hat mit der Novartis Pharma AG Basel ein weiteres namhaftes Unternehmen als Kunden gewonnen.

Im Rahmen des Pharma ERP Program (PEP) setzt Novartis die Prozesssteuerungs-software UC4 für die Batch-Verarbeitung in den europäischen SAP-Systemen ein. In zwei R/3 Systemclustern, die auf AIX Unix und Oracle basieren, werden über UC4 täglich ca. 1400 SAP-Jobs abgewickelt. UC4 ermöglicht es darüber hinaus, die komplexen Abläufe zwischen den einzelnen Systemclustern zu steuern und zu überwa-chen. Für Novartis war diese Fähigkeit, Abläufe in heterogenen IT-Landschaften
