UMS AG setzt Expansion mit Erwerb der Mobile Biopsy, Inc. fort

Die UMS United Medical Systems International AG (UMS/ ISIN DE0005493654) hat über ihre US-Tochter die Mobile Biopsy, Inc., Statesville, North-Carolina (USA) erworben. Mobile Biopsy betreibt sieben mobile Brustbiopsiesysteme entlang der US-Ostküste zwischen Florida und Pennsylvania. Durch den Erwerb erhöht sich auf Jahresbasis der Umsatz in der Gynäkologiesparte der Gesellschaft um rund 2,3 Mio. USD. Im Geschäftsjahr 2010 hatte der Umsatz dieser Sparte 13,2 Mio. USD betragen.
