Ein nur 28 x 22 x 3,5 mm3 großes Sensormodul in SMD-Bauweise, mit dessen Hilfe sich flüchtige organische Verbindungen in der Luft besonders schnell und mit sehr hoher Genauigkeit ermitteln lassen, stellt Unitronic auf der SENSOR+TEST 2013 in Halle 12, Stand 366 vor.

Das auf dem hochpräzisen langzeitstabilen Miniatur-MEMS-Sensor TGS8100 von Figaro Engineering basierende USM-VOCG reagiert in weniger als 8 s auf die Freisetzung schädlicher Gase. Ein weiteres herausragendes Merkmal ist sein im Vergleich mit herkömmlichen Halbleitersensor-basierenden Modulen deutlich geringerer Stromverbrauch von unter 20 mA im kontinuierlichen Betrieb.
