Girls’Day 2008 – Mädchen-Zukunftstag am Department Informatik

Am 24. April 2008 bietet das Department Informatik der Universität Hamburg Schülerinnen von Klasse 5-10 ein spannendes Programm rund um die Informatik an. Die Mädchen bekommen einen Einblick in die Informatik und ausgesuchte, aktuelle Forschungsthemen und lösen innerhalb von kleinen Projekten selbstständig Aufgaben.

Zum Beispiel programmieren die Schülerinnen einen Computer so, dass sie ein einfaches Gespräch mit ihm führen können. Mit der Beschreibungssprache POV-Ray erstellen sie 3D-Grafiken und machen daraus kurze Filme. Oder sie entwickeln auf dem Laptop Programme, die per WLan auf "Roboterhunde" übertragen und ausgeführt werden, um den Robotern das Fußballspielen beizubringen.
