Internationaler Workshop von Sprachwissenschaftlern

"The Architecture of Writing Systems" (Die Architektur der Schriftsysteme) - so lautet das Thema des 8. Internationalen Workshops der "Association of Written Language and Literacy", die am 4. und 5. Oktober an der Universität Oldenburg stattfindet. Er wird organisiert von der Sprachwissenschaftlerin Prof. Dr. Nanna Fuhrhop und MitarbeiterInnen des Instituts für Germanistik. Die Treffen der "Association of Written Language and Literacy" finden im Zwei-Jahres-Rhythmus statt. Das letzte war 2010 an der Pariser Sorbonne.

Der Workshop richtet sich an WissenschaftlerInnen verschiedener Länder und Sprachen, die über Linguistik, Psycholinguistik, Computerlinguistik und Spracherziehung arbeiten. Den Hauptvortrag des ersten Tages hält Prof. Dr. Jonathan
