"Die Formierung von Gender am Experimentalobjekt Intersexualität" - so lautet der Vortrag, den die Berliner Psychologin Ulrike Klöppel im Rahmen des Öffentlichen Forschungskolloquiums des Kollegs Kulturwissenschaftliche Geschlechterstudien am Donnerstag, 24.April 2008, 18.00 Uhr, in der Universität Oldenburg (Gebäude A8 1-110) hält.

Klöppel wird in ihrem Vortrag die medizinische Normierung intersexueller Menschen historisch untersuchen und zugleich der Frage nachgehen, wie sich das Behandlungsvorgehen in die Konzeptualisierung von Gender eingeschrieben hat.

Klöppel ist Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Geschichte der Medizin der Charité Berlin im DFG-Projekt "Industrialisierung experimentellen Wissens". Seit 1994 forscht sie zum medizinischen Umgang mit Intersexualität bzw. Hermaphroditismus aus der Enjtxkzwanj pdr Lvvriu nht Iuqfz Vlpbenv.
