Rennteam erneut erfolgreich

Formula Student Team der Uni Stuttgart siegt auch in Italien

Nach dem Sieg bei der Formula Student Germany auf dem Hockenheimring im August, belegte das Rennteam der Uni Stuttgart auch auf der Ferrari Teststrecke im italienischen Fiorano den ersten Platz. Dort fand vom 21. bis 23. September die Formula SAE Italy statt. Schon Ende Juli hatten die studentischen Autobauer auf der Formel 1 Rennstrecke in Silverstone (Großbritannien) mit einem dritten Platz punkten können. Die "Formula Student" (oder auch "Formula SAE") ist ein internationaler Konstruktionswettbewerb, bei dem Studierende in Eigenregie einen Formelrennwagen konzipieren, konstruieren und in die Realität umsetzen.
