Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler des Instituts für Geographie der Universität Stuttgart haben die Frage, inwieweit moderne Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien als Chance für den ländlichen Raum genutzt werden können, innerhalb eines vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung finanzierten Forschungsprojekts zum Thema „Telearbeits- und Teleservicezentren im ländlichen Raum“ mit mehreren Partnern untersucht.
