Vampamid 6 2028 V2/U ist ein auf Basis von Polyamid 6 hergestelltes flammhemmendes Compound mit 20% Glasfaserverstärkung aus dem Hause Vamptech.
Dieses für Spritzgussanwendungen entwickelte Material erfüllt strengste Brandschutzvorgaben der UL-94.
Für die Eisenbahnindustrie ist dieses Material gemäß der DIN 5510-2 "S3/SR2/ST2" klassifiziert und entspricht auch den hohen amerikanischen Standards für Anwendungen in Bahnen und Bussen - Docket 90 A/ASTM E 162 (Strahlungstest zum Brandverhalten) und Docket 90 A/ASTM E 662 (Rauchgasdichte).
Hierbei sind Anforderungen an niedrigen Rausgasdichten und Toxizitätswerten einzuhalten.
