EUROTRANS - Specialized training on gear design and engineering halfway and successful so far

After the success of the EUROTRANS Gear Training in 2010, EUROTRANS, the European Committee for Power Transmission Engineering, organized the second edition of this specialized training on gear design and engineering in 2011. The first two training sessions are just completed successfully with 16 participants for week 1 and 13 participants for week 2. Weeks 3 and 4 of the training are still open and will take place in October and December.

Although the power transmission engineering industry is an important industry branch, dedicated programmes on gears are rare on university level.
