US-Markt: Deutsche Marken im 1. Halbjahr 2007 auf Wachstumskurs

Die deutschen Hersteller blieben auch im Juni auf dem wichtigsten Automobilmarkt auf Wachstumskurs: Während der US-Gesamtmarkt um 3 Prozent nachgab, setzten sie gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat 4 Prozent mehr Fahrzeuge ab. Damit konnten sie in den USA im ersten Halbjahr 2007 ihren Absatz um 3 Prozent auf 461.000 Light Vehicles steigern, während der Gesamtabsatz um 2 Prozent zurückging. Die deutschen Hersteller erhöhten so ihren Marktanteil auf 5,6 Prozent.

Besonders erfolgreich waren die deutschen Hersteller im Segment der Light Trucks: Hier konnten sie im Juni ihre Verkäufe um 5 Prozent steigern, während der Gesamtab-satz um 6 Prozent nachgab.
