Der Verein Bremer Spediteure begrüßt ausdrücklich, dass das Bundesverfassungsgericht das Umschlagsverbot für Kernbrennstoffe in den bremischen Häfen aufgehoben hat. Die Frage, ob die Atomkraft und ihre Abfälle dauerhaft beherrschbar sind, ist umstritten. Politisch motivierte Einschränkungen des Warenumschlags aber gefährden den Charakter des Universalhafens.
