Zum Beginn des Jahres 2019 wurden mit Dr. Martin Kremmer und Prof. Dr. Peter Pickel gleich zwei Vertreter des VDI-Fachbeirats Max-Eyth-Gesellschaft Agrartechnik (VDI-MEG) als Honorarprofessoren berufen. Beide sind derzeit bei John Deere (JD), bei einem weltweit führenden Landmaschinenhersteller, tätig. Pickel ist stellvertretender Direktor des JD European Technology Innovation Center in Kaiserslautern. Kremmer ist gegenwärtig als Manager Integrated Solutions Technology
Strategy am Standort der JD Firmenzentrale in Moline (Illinois, USA) im Einsatz.
