Per Laser die Werkzeugfertigung beschleunigen

Der Precutter wurde nach Angaben von Laserpluss für die schnelle Herstellung von geometrisch definierten Schneiden an spanabhebenden Werkzeugen entwickelt und bildet gemeinsam mit dem Laser für die Finish-Bearbeitung ein Team für extrem hohe Präzision. Wie das Unternehmen erläutert, bereitet die Neuentwicklung Werkzeugschneiden mit einem geringen Aufmaß dreidimensional bei einer Bearbeitungszeit von etwa einer Minute (bei 10 mm Schneidkantenlänge) vor. Dadurch werde im anschließenden Finish-Prozess mit dem Raycutter die fertige Schneide wirtschaftlich hergestellt. Die Freiwinkeloptik in Verbindung mit einem Hochleistungslaser ermögliche das Schneiden von definierten Freiwinkeln am Werkzeug. Um eine hohe Genauigkeit zu erreichen, wird jedes Bauteil mit einem 3D-Taster vermessen.
