Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) präsentiert ein kompaktes ESD-Schutzarray, das sich durch geringe Kapazität und geringen Leckstrom auszeichnet und zum Schutz von USB-OTG-Ports vor Überspannungsspitzen vorgesehen ist. Das neue Bauteil bietet ESD-Schutz für drei USB-Leitungen mit 5,5V Arbeitsspannung und eine VBUS-Leitung mit 12V Arbeitsspannung.

Das VBUS053AZ-HAF besitzt ein oberflächenmontierbares LLP75-7L-Gehäuse, hat eine Grundfläche von 1,6mm x 1,6mm und eine ultra-geringe Bauhöhe von nur 0,6. Es minimiert dadurch den Platzbedarf für den ESD-Schutz in Hochgeschwindigkeits-Datenanwendungen wie z. B. USB 2.0 und HDMI in HDTVs und mobilen elektronischen Geräten wie z. B. tragbare Spielkonsolen, MP3-Player und Mobiltelefone.
