The directly heated PTCHP series devices are optimized for use as heating elements in home appliances such as thermal actuators, insecticide and perfume vaporizers, and small warming plates. Minimizing the parts count and overall cost in designs where a controlled amount of heat is needed, the self-regulating thermistors eliminate the need for a thermostat or other control circuitry.
