Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today released a new family of yellow, amber, warm white, and white 1-W power SMD LEDs. The Little Star® VLMK71.., VLMY71.., VLMW71.. and VLMW711.. series offer a low thermal resistance and high luminous intensity for a wide range of applications.

Featuring a SMD power package with a compact 6.0-mm by 6.0-mm footprint and ultra-low profile of 1.5mm, Vishay’s new Little Star LEDs are among the most robust and light-efficient products on the market. The devices are designed for high current drive, and offer extremely high brightness and a high flux output.
