Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced a new series of high-voltage, screw-mounting disc capacitors that offers designers a wide range of diameters and capacitance values over rated voltages from 10 kVDC to 40 kVDC.

With low AC and DC coefficients, and negligible piezoelectric/electrostrictive effect, the Vishay Cera-Mite 715CxxKT series has been specifically designed to function in circuits with high peak current and high repetition rates. The new devices are optimized for high-frequency coupling and decoupling, laser excitation, and fast-repetition pulse circuitry in high-voltage power supplies, CO2 lasers, X-ray equipment, and welding equipment where low losses and high permittivity are bvfdzrpx.
