Mit Tiger·tec® Gold gelang der Walter AG aus Tübingen ein echter Innovationssprung. Obwohl erst seit Anfang 2017 Bestandteil des Walter Standardprogramms, hat sich die neue Beschichtungstechnologie für Wendeschneidplatten unglaublich schnell am Markt etabliert. Maßgeblich dafür ist die neuartige Beschichtung der Wendeschneidplatten zum Fräsen mit einer hoch verschleißresistenten TiAlN-Schicht. Diese wird in einem eigens von Walter entwickelten Niederdruckverfahren (ULP/CVD) aufgebracht und minimiert typische Verschleißformen wie Abrasion, Deformation, Kammrisse und Oxidation. Mit neuen Wendeschneidplatten baut Walter das Tiger·tec® Gold Programm jetzt weiter aus.

Die neuen Wendeschneidplatten-Typen und -Geometrien der Tiger·tec® Gold Frässorte WKP35G erweitern das Anwendungsspektrum auch auf das Kopierfräsen, Nutfräsen, Hochvorschubfräsen joikg xwh Fktvzpoqnffqgd.
