Die RSG - Wolfsburg startet an diesem Wochenende beim legendären 24 Stunden Rennen am Nürburgring mit zwei VW Golf V in der Klasse S1.

Zum Einsatz kommt wie im letzten Jahr das Golf V Kit-Car, dass von einem 220 PS starken 1.9l Dieselmotor angetrieben wird. Das Kit-Car ist im letzten Jahr nach 20 Stunden auf Platz 2 liegend wegen eines Zahnriemen-Springers bei Regen ausgefallen und gilt daher auch in diesem Jahr als Kandidat für einen Sieg in der Klasse S1. Pilotiert wird das Kit-Car von Kai Jordan, Ralph Bohnhorst, Martin Zondler und Thomas Schiemann.
