Open Source Community startet neuen Webbrowser Firefox mit einer Dinosaurier-Party im Naturkundemuseum Stuttgart

Anlässlich der Veröffentlichung der neuen Version des Internet-browsers Mozilla Firefox 1.0. und des E-Mail Clients Mozilla Thunderbird finden Mitte November auf der ganzen Welt Release-Partys statt. Stand Ende Oktober waren 250 Veranstaltungen mit 4.000 angemeldeten Gästen in Vorbereitung.

Im Rahmen ihrer Initiative „Open Source Region Stuttgart“ organi-siert die Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart GmbH mit Unter-stützung des Stuttgarter Internet Providers LF.net und Hewlett-Packard unter dem Titel „1. Region Stuttgart DinosauriCon“ die Release-Party für Baden-Württemberg.

In Anlehnung an das Mozilla-Wappentier, einen Dinosaurier, haben die Veranstalter das Stuttgarter Naturkundemuseum am Löwentor und das dazugehörige Cafe Fossil als Location gewählt.
