Energy-Meteorologist / Physicist / Engineer for Wind and Solar Power

ProfEC Ventus GmbH – About Us:

Founded in 2012 in Oldenburg, Germany, ProfEC Ventus is a global leader in the wind and solar energy sectors. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team and support the development of expert reports, including energy yield forecasts and power performance verifications.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Calculate energy yield forecasts for wind farms.
  • Develop energy yield forecasts for solar farms.
  • Conduct power performance measurements for wind turbines.
  • Perform site assessments and turbulence analysis.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of relevant IEC, FGW, and MEASNET standards in wind energy.
  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and with a high level of precision.
  • Proficient in industry software such as WASP, WindPRO, CFD, or similar tools.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
  • Basic programming skills in Python or experience with MATLAB are a plus.
Working times:

Full Time, 40 hours / Week

 

Wage and reimbursement:

Negotiable. Dependant on expertise and skills.

 

Start of employment:

Immediately.
