Engineer or Technician for meteorological measurement systems

ProfEC Ventus GmbH – About Us:

Founded in 2012 in Oldenburg, Germany, ProfEC Ventus is a global leader in the wind and solar energy sectors. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer/Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration and support of advanced meteorological measurement systems for the renewables industry at our laboratory and electronic workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage job and order processing efficiently.
  • Plan, configure, and set up data loggers and measurement systems.
  • Provide expert advice on measurement concepts and solutions.
  • Offer exceptional customer support and after-sales service.
  • Work with advanced LiDAR measurement technologies.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Able to work independently, reliably, and with precision.
  • Hands-on experience in assembling electronic cabinets and autonomous power systems.
  • Strong knowledge of DC circuits, meteorological sensors, and operating principles of measurement systems and data loggers.
  • Fluent in English; additional proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Python is required. Experience with Simulink, MATLAB, C, C++, or PEARL is highly advantageous.
 

Working times:

Full Time, 40 hours / Week

 

Wage and reimbursement:

Negotiable. Dependant on expertise and skills.

 

Start of employment:

Immediately.
