Compliance & Risk Legal Counsel

Robert Walters is actively seeking a Legal Counsel with a specialization in compliance and risk management at both global and European levels, exclusively on behalf of our client. This pivotal role is central to our client’s comprehensive global compliance framework, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with multifaceted teams. Your primary responsibilities will involve pinpointing legal risks and devising strategies for their worldwide mitigation. Your responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts to strengthen global compliance program, encompassing the development of policies, codes, training modules, and internal communication strategies.
  • Drive the coordination of governance structures, policies, procedures, and processes relating to business ethics, regulatory adherence, and product integrity.
  • Direct the management of investigations, reporting mechanisms, and resolution protocols for compliance-related issues across diverse channels.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant business counterparts to ensure oversight of risk factors associated with third-party relationships.
  • Proactively identify emerging legal risks that may impact the organization, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to devise comprehensive mitigation strategies on a global scale.
  • Offer steadfast legal support for ESG initiatives, with a particular focus on supply chain compliance and due diligence procedures.
Your qualifications:

• At least 7 years of professional experience post-qualification, gained within a multinational corporation.
• Preferably licensed to practice law in Switzerland.
• Demonstrated track record of providing advice to multinational entities on intricate global issues and transactions.
• Proficiency in managing diverse legal challenges autonomously.
• Previous involvement in projects revolving around innovative technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English; fluency in either German, French, or Italian is advantageous.
