ConWeb GmbH ist ein herstellerneutrales Systemhaus, das kundenspezifische 3D Softwarelösungen erstellt und branchenführende Lösungen und Beratungsleistungen anbietet, mit denen 3D Produktdaten unternehmensweit auch außerhalb der Entwicklungs- und Konstruktionsabteilungen durchgängig genutzt werden können, z.B. im Vertrieb und Marketing, für Trainingsunterlagen, in der Berechnung, in der Fertigung. Die Lösungen bestehen aus leicht zu handhabenden 3D CAD/CAM- Systemen, 2D/3D Datenkonvertern, Reverse Engineering-Systemen für 3D Punktewolken und tesselierte 3D Modelle (STL), 3D Viewer für CAD, Echtzeit Simulationssysteme (FEM/CFD) für die Konzeptphase, Lichtsimulationssoftware und optische Entwurfssoftware, 3D Animations- und Renderingwerkzeuge, Software für die 3D Druckvorstufe beim Einsatz von 3D Printing, 3D Software-Entwicklungswerkzeugen (SDK), usw. Die Einführung dieser Methoden führt bei unseren Kunden zu signifikanten Verbesserungen wichtiger Kennziffern, z.B. Einhaltung von Entwicklungskosten oder von Produktentwicklungszeiten. Eine Studie der Aberdeen-Group mit dem Titel "Beyond Engineeering: New Applications of 3D Drive Top Line Growth" hat festgestellt, dass sehr erfolgreiche Unternehmen Vorreiter bei der konsequenten Weiterverwendung von 3D-Produktdaten im gesamten Unternehmen sind.
