Die Exolon Group ist führender Anbieter von Massiv- und Stegplatten für verschiedene innovative Anwendungen. Die mittelständische Unternehmensgruppe entwickelt, produziert und vertreibt Polycarbonatplatten, Polyesterplatten sowie opakes Blend-Plattenmaterial aus hochwertigem Kunststoff.
Neuer Name für 40 Jahre Erfahrung
Auch wenn der Name noch jung ist, verbergen sich hinter der Exolon Group über 40 Jahre gebündeltes Fachwissen in der Extrusion von thermoplastischen Kunststoffplatten. Seit 2020 gehört das Unternehmen zur Serafin Unternehmensgruppe mit Sitz in München und führt das ehemalige Kunststoffplattengeschäft von Covestro weiter. Dabei vereint die Exolon Group nun als mittelständisches Unternehmen bewährte Tradition mit zukunftsweisenden Innovationen.
Drei Standorte – ein Ziel
Das Unternehmen ist an drei Standorten vertreten: München in Deutschland, Nera Montoro in Italien und Tielt in Belgien. Rund 280 Mitarbeiter*innen haben sich der Entwicklung, Fertigung und dem Vertrieb von Massiv- und Stegplatten für den gesamten europäischen Markt verschrieben. Sie leben aktiv den Leitgedanken der Exolon Group: „People Passion Performance“. So entwickelt, produziert und vertreibt das Unternehmen aktuell Polycarbonatplatten der Marke Exolon®, Axpet®- und Vivak®-Polyesterplatten sowie opakes Blend-Plattenmaterial der Marke Exoblend® aus hochwertigem Kunststoff.
Die Produkte finden sich unter anderem im Bauwesen, der visuellen Kommunikation sowie in der Industrie und Beleuchtungsanwendungen. Die Produktentwicklung orientiert sich nach den aktuellen Bedürfnissen des Marktes sowie an zukunftsweisenden Trends. Dadurch können sich die Materialien in neuen Anwendungsbereichen etablieren genauso wie bewährte Anwendungen revolutionieren.
Das Material wird in den Produktionsstandorten in Belgien und Italien nach einheitlich hohen Qualitätsstandards produziert. Neben dem Verwaltungssitz in Deutschland betreuen Mitarbeiter im Technischen Dienst und Vertrieb die Abnehmer im direkten Kontakt. Durch das ausgefeilte Vertriebsnetz und die persönliche Beratung profitieren die Kunden in ganz Europa von der Nähe zum Unternehmen und von 40 Jahren Know-how.

Exolon Group is a leading supplier of solid and multiwall sheets for various innovative applications. The medium-sized group of companies develops, produces and distributes polycarbonate sheets, polyester sheets and opaque sheeting material made of high-quality plastic.
New name for 40 years worth of experience
Even though the name is still young, Exolon Group has over 40 years of combined expertise in the extrusion of thermoplastic sheets. Since 2020, the company has been part of the Serafin group of companies based in Munich and continues Covestro's former plastic sheet business. As a medium-sized company, the Exolon Group now combines proven tradition with forward-looking innovations.
Three locations, one goal
The company is represented at three locations: Munich in Germany, Nera Montoro in Italy and Tielt in Belgium. Around 280 employees are dedicated to the development, production and distribution of solid and multiwall sheets for the entire European market. They actively pursue the guiding principle of Exolon Group: People, passion, performance. Whether on roofs, as machine guards or at the point of sale, thanks to its many years of experience, Exolon Group has an extensive product portfolio for many applications and industries. The company is actively developing, producing and distributing Exolon® brand polycarbonate sheets, Axpet® and Vivak® polyester sheets and opaque blend sheet Exoblend® material made of high-quality plastic.
Products can be found in construction, visual communication, industry and lighting applications, as well as other areas. Product development is based on the current needs of the market as well as forward-looking trends. This means that materials can revolutionise new applications as well as tried-and-tested applications.
The material is manufactured in accordance with consistently high-quality standards at production facilities in Belgium and Italy. In addition to the administrative headquarters in Germany, employees in Technical service and Sales, support customers directly. Thanks to the sophisticated sales network and personal advice, customers throughout Europe benefit from close contact to the company and 40 years of expertise.
