KAUP investiert in nachhaltige Stromerzeugung

KAUP erweitert seine Photovoltaikkapazitäten. Dafür wird ein regionales Fachunternehmen mehrere hundert Solarmodule, verteilt auf zwei Photovoltaikanlagen installieren. „Wir nutzen die Fläche auf den Dächern unserer Produktionshallen, soweit es technisch möglich ist, komplett aus“, sagt Geschäftsführer Holger Kaup. Um diese Werte zu erreichen, sind etwa fünfeinhalbtausend Quadratmeter Modulfläche nötig. Zum Vergleich: Man bräuchte fast 6.000 Europaletten, um diese Fläche abzudecken.

Eine ungewohnte Kombination - KAUP-Ballenklammern neu eingesetzt

Die Automatisierung der Lagerlogistik schreitet voran. Hauptbestandteil dieser zukunftsträchtigen Form der Intralogistik sind Fahrerlose Transportsysteme, kurz FTS. Mehrere Fahrzeuge, FTF genannt, bilden diese Systeme. Sie lösen an immer mehr Stellen konventionelle Flurförderzeuge ab, mithin auch Anbaugeräte für Gabelstapler. Doch nicht an allen FTF genügen starre Gabeln, um die Handlingaufgabe zu lösen. So auch beim Tabakwarenhersteller JT International Germany GmbH (JTI) in Trier.
