Das Ergebnis ist ein weltweit agierendes Unternehmen für Luftbildkartentechnologie, das komplette und zuverlässige Kartierungssysteme speziell für die Vermessungs-, Bergbau-, Bau-, Öl- und Gasindustrie sowie für die Präzisionslandwirtschaft liefert. Die integrierten Systeme von Microdrones sind industrielle Tools, die spezifische, komplexe Kartierungsanforderungen professioneller Kunden bewältigen. Die Systeme basieren auf einem vollständig integrierten geodätischen Workflow, mit dem die hochmoderne Softwaretechnologie von Microdrones Rohdaten, die im Feld mit Vermessungsgeräten von Microdrones erfasst wurden, in wertvolle, qualitativ hochwertige Vermessungsdaten umwandelt. Microdrones ist wegen seiner Führungsrolle in der LiDAR-Technologie weithin anerkannt.
