Microtech Gefell GmbH

Microtech Gefell/MTG, founded in 1928 by Georg Neumann, is a specialist with a long tradition in the sound sensor sector. The production of measuring microphones began as early as 1937. The entire company and headquarters were moved to Gefell in 1943. 1993 the company Microtech Gefell GmbH under the new registered trademark MTG has been  established by the limited partnership Georg Neumann & Co.– now Georg Neumann KG.

Today the focus is on the development and production of high-quality measuring capsules, preamplifier technology,  complete handmade special microphones and turnkey solutions for areas such as the environment, research and industry.

The spectrum ranges from  sound intensity probes, weatherproof microphones and extensive accessories to complete test banches.The microphones are approved for official calibration/PTP certification and can be used for legally binding measurements.

MTG calibrates the physical parameters sound pressure and acceleration in its own laboratory and issues DAkkS and factory certificates.
