naturwind projektiert Windparks an Land (onshore). Das inhabergeführte Familienunternehmen wurde 2004 gegründet und hat bisher Windparks mit einer Gesamtleistung von rund 400 Megawatt erfolgreich projektiert. Hauptsitz ist Schwerin in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Mit rund 40 Mitarbeitern berät und begleitet das Unternehmen Windparkprojekte in Norddeutschland von der Idee über Planung, Genehmigungsverfahren und Bau bis zur Inbetriebnahme und legt dabei besonderes Augenmerk auf eine naturverträgliche, wirtschaftliche und soziale Entwicklung der realisierten Windparks.

naturwind kümmert sich auch um Schnittstellen für die Speicherung von Windstrom und dessen Nutzung in anderen Energiesektoren. Zusammen mit Partnern entwickelt naturwind Konzepte zur dezentralen Nutzung und Vermarktung regional erzeugter erneuerbarer Energie auf Power-to-X-Basis. Anfang 2022 wird mit dem Bau der ersten Wasserstoff- und Methanerzeugungsanlage in Lübesse (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) begonnen.
