Die Investition in 7AC wurde durch 3M New Ventures, der Corporate Venture Einheit von 3M, getätigt. Deren Aufgabe ist es, weltweit innovative Zukunftstechnologien zu identifizieren, zu bewerten und für 3M zu erschließen.
