The 4JET Group (Alsdorf, Germany) has expanded its range of laser job shop services. In the future, processes for surface cleaning, pretreatment and laser paint stripping will also be offered at 4JET´s site in Prutting near Rosenheim.
The investment in a flexible 2kW robotic cell from 4JET complements the existing equipment portfolio for laser-based glass processing.
The service offering is aimed at low- and medium-volume customers who want to use laser technology without making the investment themselves.
The job shop also serves as a testing ground for pilot series and enables customers to bridge start-up phases for their own investment projects in laser technology. 4JET also offers customers downstream quality or logistics processes.
To complement this, the company is also building up a network of service providers who take on cleaning tasks at customers' sites using hand-held JETLASER cleaning systems. These independent partner companies use 4JET products for industrial cleaning, building and fire restoration, and maintenance work prior to non-destructive testing, for example.
