The Eyseo IP D1 network video server receives data from analogue video cameras that are already connected in the building, and compresses these with the aid of the high-efficiency H.264 video codec. While analogue video systems require coaxial cables, the Eyseo IP D1 network video server allows access via Ethernet cable, and therefore via the network directly. Video data is encrypted to protect it from unauthorised access, allowing secure remote surveillance. The video server therefore allows a smooth transition from classic analogue CCTV to IP-based video surveillance.
The voice data can be used for two-way audio communication via the audio input and output. Along with classic motion detection or scheduled recordings, alarm-controlled recordings are also possible using the alarm in/out interface. The integrated SD card slot allows direct recording of video data with a maximum storage capacity of up to 32 GB. This also allows the Eyseo IP D1 network video server to be used as a stand-alone recording solution.
Availability
The Eyseo IP D1 network video server TVIP40000 is due to go on sale from January 2011.
