The app beeto offers businesspeople a platform to reach clients who are often online. Consumers can use beeto to find businesses in their area and contact them directly. You can use the application to reserve a table at a restaurant, make an appointment at the hairdresser or in the workshop. You can also reserve products and use the chat function to ask questions. A wide variety of companies can be reached using beeto, including some from the fashion industry, gastronomy, and the fitness and health sector.
The management and IT consulting firm Acando supported the project team from E-Plus with the architecture and development of the app. They were developed using a hybrid basis with the cross-platform framework Apache Cordova. When implementing the project, the E-Plus Group once again utilized Acando’s industry experience and expertise in the digital solutions area.
Since July the app is available as an Android variant in Pempelfort, which is a district in Düsseldorf. With the pilot phase completely by the end of the year, plans are underway for expanding and spreading to other cities.
“We are very happy with how Acando made the implementation extremely fast and stable,” reports Sarah Ammermann, at beeto marketing. “Thanks to our partner, we quickly developed a digital service that is unique in the German marketplace."
beeto is the result of the entrance program “Echtzeit” of the E-Plus Group for bachelor and master students. These 11 job starters were given the task to develop together a real start-up project relevant for the cell phone industry. The resulting beeto is a cross-sector communication tool that enables commercial messaging.
