For the first time, achelos will present the new TLS service offering for the open source TLS test tool “TaSK” from the BSI to a wider audience. The IT security experts offer a comprehensive package of support and add-ons for the BSI solution. Manufacturers and testing centres can then test the security and TLS-conformity of a software both efficiently and flexibly, as well as document this in an audit-compliant way. The TR-03116 specifications are intended for use in digitalisation projects of the German Federal Government and therefore also offer orientation for projects in the free economy. With the new TLS service offering, achelos is in particular supporting device manufacturers that have little experience or no available capacities for implementing security requirements and gaining certifications.
“Network security will be a central topic at it-sa. We are very pleased to complement the “TaSK” test tool we developed on behalf of the BSI with our new TLS services. Not every user is familiar with the details of test suites; we have recognised this need and offer professional and customised support with our comprehensive service package,” says Kathrin Asmuth, Managing Partner of achelos GmbH, describing one of the focal points of the trade fair appearance.
In the congress programme at it-sa, Heinfried Cznottka, Director Security Solutions at achelos, will present the TLS Inspector test suite from achelos in conjunction with a smart-charging solution from dSPACE and demonstrate the security between the charging station and car. The presentation “How secure is the communication between charging stations and electric cars?” will take place on Thursday, 12 October in Hall 7, Forum C, at 11:30 a.m.
In addition to the topic of network security, achelos will present complete security solutions for building or migrating existing public key infrastructures in companies. The aim is to manage electronic certificates in an automated and secure manner throughout the company and to support corporate applications such as IAM (Identity Access Management) and MDM (Mobile Device Management).
