"We would like to congratulate Johanna Jakob for her outstanding master's thesis. Having been a sponsoring partner for many years, achelos is keen to support young students and also honour the excellent work performed by the University of Paderborn. We work on exciting future topics in and around the field of IT security. Our modern organisational structure, collegial leadership style and flat hierarchies provide for an open, fair and collaborative environment. This reflects the agility of our company and makes us very attractive as a potential employer, particularly for students and graduates," comments Kathrin Asmuth, Managing Partner at achelos.
The ceremony was accompanied by a keynote speech by Rebecca Steinhage, member of the Executive Board at Miele (Human Resources & Corporate Affairs) on the topic of "Gamechanger or showstopper – The relevance of sustainability in the development of future innovations".
Philip Asmuth, Development Team Lead at achelos, also took part in the graduation ceremony. He personally congratulated graduate Johanna Jakob on her outstanding master's thesis, entitled "Whitney's extension theorem for vector-valued functions" and presented her with the cheque from achelos for €500. Software developer Asmuth is no stranger to the graduation ceremony, as he himself wrote his master's thesis in mathematics in the same faculty and also received the same award for this in 2019.
