Around 700 exhibitors and 300 speakers from Germany and beyond, including everything from industry giants to start-ups, are expected to attend DMEA, the leading trade fair for digital health. The event will be taking place from 9 to 11 April on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. They will be presenting their solutions, products and best practices for the future of digital healthcare provision. achelos GmbH will be showcasing its offerings on Stand B105 in Hall 6.2.
achelos' presence at the DMEA 2024 will revolve around secure connection in TI and at clinics. achelos has already been supporting the development of the electronic health card, the electronic patient file (ePA) and TI-Messenger for years. The IT security expert offers producers of eHealth solutions comprehensive TI services. Indeed, achelos provides support for the development, testing and approval in line with the specific requirements of gematik, Germany's national agency for the digitalisation of the healthcare system, as well as the connection to and integration into the TI 2.0 telematics infrastructure.
Reliable support when setting up and operating IAM
At DMEA 2024, achelos will be showcasing token-based access systems for modern identity and access management (IAM) in the IT systems used at medical establishments. The system integrator for cyber security and digital identities offers planning and consulting services for both establishing and operating IAM solutions, as well as an all-inclusive package - including everything from the IT solution architecture, through support in designing the security processes and operation of the application, all the way up to operational documentation.
TI-Messenger and eHealth-CardLink
Another focus of the trade fair appearance is on TI-Messengers, which are scheduled to go live shortly for service providers. achelos has been working on an automated test suite for the TI-Messenger since May 2023. This is based on the Tiger test suite from gematik.
In addition to this, achelos is setting a further focus on the eHealth-CardLink (eCL). This represents a subset of the eHealth card terminal from medical practices or pharmacies. The eHealth-CardLink facilitates the use of the electronic health card (eGK), which communicates via the mobile phone network with the TI infrastructure at the data centre. achelos is already supporting the market leader DocMorris, among others in the approval of its eHealth-CardLink using the achelos test suite.
Guaranteeing the security of patient data
"DMEA 2024 will focus on the concrete implementation of digitalisation in the healthcare sector. The security of sensitive patient data is critical here. Thanks to our expertise with complex environments and critical infrastructures, we can show companies how to make this a success," comments Thomas Freitag, CEO at achelos GmbH.
