Acturion Datasys presents the MIL-CON Box 1 and 2 for the full-ruggedized Notebooks of the Victum-Note Series

The Acturion Datasys GmbH ( www.acturion.com ) specialized system provider in the filed of Military and Industrial Mobile Computing, presents with the MIL-CON Box 1 and 2 a unique solution for all users who must work outdoor at any time at any environmental conditions and must connect external peripherals to a full-ruggedized notebook.
All full-ruggedized notebooks have the big disadvantage that they loose their IP54 (NEMA4) rating once a peripheral is connected to the USB ports or other ports. Now Acturion has developed a solution for that problem! Acturion has developed 2 MIL-CON Boxes – MIL CON Box 1 is placed on the rear of the Victum-Note and offers waterproof connectors for LAN, Modem, DC Power-In, VGA, Audio In and Out and LPT1. The MIL-CON Box 2 is placed on the right side of the Victum-Note and offers 2 waterproof USB 2.0 ports and 1 PS/2 or 1 Firewire port.
The customer can chose among a variety of LEMO-, Fischer- or Amphenol connectors. The maximum diameter of the connectors must not exceed 25mm or 1 Inch. The development of the MIL-CON Box was inspired and guided by requests and suggestions from Acturion customers. The Pin-Out of the connectors installed in the MIL-CON Boxes can be defined by the customer.
Acturion delivers all Victum-Notes with the MIL-CON Box completely installed and wired up within 4-6 weeks ARO.
