Logbucheinträge sind gruppierbar ("Associated Event") und werden nach Bearbeitung revisionssicher ("Complete") abgelegt. Sie können dann nicht mehr geändert werden. Logbucheinträge gelöschter Komponenten bleiben erhalten.
Beim Anlegen der Logbuch-Einträge können Beziehungen zu Komponenten (CIs), Standorten ("location"), Organisationen etc. erstellt werden. Hierbei greift eine Vererbungslogik ("auf alle eingebauten Komponenten", "auf alle enthaltenen Gebäude, Etagen, Räume", ...), die automatisch alle betroffenen Elemente ermittelt. Zusätzlich können Notfallhandbücher oder -pläne für Eventgruppen hinterlegt werden.
Wurden beim Logbuch-Eintrag Beziehungen erstellt, sind die korrespondierenden Ereignisbeschreibungen auch in der Detailansicht der jeweiligen Komponenten, Locations , Events, ... zu finden. Als separater Systembereich können diese anschließend zu Analysen, Ableitungen oder zur Vorsorge herangezogen werden.
