Die Uhr für die verpflichtende Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung im deutschen Mittelstand tickt: Ab Januar 2024 greift für die ersten Unternehmen die Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) der Europäischen Union (EU). Zunächst sind Unternehmen an der Reihe, die bereits nach der älteren „Non-Financial Reporting Directive“ (NFRD) berichterstattungspflichtig waren. Ein Jahr später folgen große Unternehmen, die der NFRD bislang nicht unterlagen. Ab 2026 gilt die CSRD für börsennotierte klein- und mittelständische Unternehmen (KMU).

Marcel Agena, Senior Consultant der Allfoye Managementberatung und selbst ehemaliger Sustainability Manager mit Verantwortung für die Berichterstellung, erläutert in diesem Beitrag, wie Sie Ihr Unternehmen erfolgreich auf die neuen Anforderungen der CSRD-Verordnung vorbereiten.
