In particular, the arvato Learning Suite (aLS), which was developed in collaboration with e/t/s didactic media, will be introduced to the public. The arvato Learning Suite (aLS) manages, integrates, and coordinates building blocks such as on-site workshops, online-based self-study phases, virtual classroom meetings, assessments, testing components, traditional courses, project work, and the creation and management of e-learning units.
This modular approach allows arvato Systems to provide maximum benefits to its customers by combining modules to provide the best match for customer requirements in terms of functionality and cost. A flexible, web-based management system forms the heart of the overall system. Around this core, CMS and portal technologies (TYPO3) are used to provide interested persons, trainees, and instructors with customized access systems whose appearance can be modified by the customer using a popular CMS.
From the outset, the aLS, which is based on web 2.0 technologies and open standards, was developed for every type of learning, from on-site courses and blended learning through to e-learning. The aLS has the resource controls required for managing on-site courses. For conducting e-learning courses, it is possible to link to existing learning management systems such as ILIAS or Moodle.
