- Arvato Systems enters into a partnership with global online learning platform Udacity
- Arvato Systems and Udacity provide companies with a customized range of in-demand technical skills training, enabling them to work at any level of digital maturity
Arvato Systems offers its customers comprehensive transformation programs as a digital transformation partner. This includes industry-specific implementation of IT solutions and the consulting and provision of services that sustainably help customers with their digitization strategy. To do this in the context of organizational and personnel development, Arvato Systems is strengthening its position by partnering with long-standing solution Udacity, a market leader in professional technical skills development.
Working with Udacity, Arvato Systems‘ B2B customers can build the necessary knowledge and skill sets to achieve their next level of digital maturity. This is not just about providing customers with access to an online education platform; rather, Arvato Systems and Udacity want to develop custom-fit training and development concepts and individual learning paths for specific needs, and make them available to IT service provider's customers.
"In our view, a transformation program can only be successful if it considers all crucial levels. This includes the targeted professional development of personnel. With Udacity as a partner at our side, we can open up a whole new breadth of state-of-the-art training opportunities for our customers," said René Wendt-Leppich, Head of Business Transformation Advisory at Arvato Systems.
"The shortage of skilled workers, especially in IT, is enormous. Equipping professionals with the knowledge and skill sets they need to evolve in the digital age, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence, data science, cloud computing and cybersecurity, is a primary concern for Udacity,“ said Holger Kobler, RVP EMEA at Udacity. ”We are honored to partner with Arvato Systems and make our global online learning platform available to its customers."
Udacity and Bertelsmann
The international media, services and education company Bertelsmann has been investing in the international growth of the Silicon Valley platform provider since 2014 and, in cooperation with Udacity, has been offering various scholarship initiatives since 2018 in response to the growing global shortage of IT and tech professionals. Under the #50000Chances campaign, Bertelsmann distributed 50,000 scholarships for the "Udacity Tech Scholarship" program in 2019 and 2020. In 2022, two additional programs were added, the "Next Generation Tech Booster" program and the "Bertelsmann Employee Scholarship" program.
