Aucotec's cooperative platform Engineering Base (EB) has not only heralded the transformation of engineering towards a cooperative future, but also established a new digital self-image of the actors involved. Today, manufacturers, suppliers and system operators use the development platform of the internationally positioned EB supplier, and especially its expertise in complex digitisation projects.
Digital transparency with Aucotec
"The engineering of the future requires a more open approach in the exchange of digital models, right down to the subcontractor responsible for maintenance," warns Uwe Vogt, Board Member of Aucotec AG. This digital rethinking is the key to greater efficiency along the entire value chain, emphasises Mr Vogt. However, many players on the market are only at the beginning of their possibilities. For this reason, the digital engineering pioneer stands by its customers and users not only as a software supplier, but also as an advisor in all engineering-relevant digitisation issues.
Knowledge transfer for industries at the Hannover Messe
At the Hannover Messe, Aucotec will systematically address industry-specific aspects of digital engineering. The company invites interested trade fair visitors to its informative Competence Days at the company's exhibition stand in Hall 17, Stand E42. On the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the fair, the focus will be on one specific platform target industry.
1. Tuesday, 21.04.2020: Electrical Plants
With Engineering Base, the efficient description of digital substations according to IEC 61850 has been achieved for the first time. On the Tuesday of the Hannover Messe, Aucotec specialists will show whether this will accelerate network expansion and how operators can maintain digital substation models over an operating period of 50 years.
2. Wednesday, 22.04.2020: Process Plants
If data is to be the oil of the 21st century but "lubricate" 20th century process plants, the model must be consistent and up-to-date. On the Wednesday of the fair Aucotec will demonstrate how Engineering Base ensures the twin status.
3. Thursday, 23.04.2020: Mobile systems
Electromobility may simplify drive technology, but the wiring harness is becoming increasingly complex. In addition to headlights and windscreen wipers, more and more sensors and actuators need to be electrically integrated. On the penultimate day of the trade fair, Aucotec will focus on the cable edition of Engineering Base.
The Aucotec contact persons will be happy to discuss specific requirements in more depth even over and above all the software features and cordially invite you to talk to Aucotec at the Hannover Messe from April 20 to 24, 2020.
