For the thirteenth time, the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy honors small and medium-sized companies with up to 100 full-time employees, who have successfully entered international markets. Almost 90 companies have applied for the award this year.
Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger: "Since its inception, the Bavarian Export Award has developed into a trademark that has lasted for a long time - in Bavaria and throughout the world."

Export Award Bavaria 2019
Since 2007, the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, State Development and Energy, the Bavarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Commerce in cooperation with Bayern International has presented the "Export Award Bavaria”. It addresses small and medium-sized companies with a maximum of 100 employees (excluding apprentices) who are successful in foreign markets. The jury evaluated the applications primarily according to the special entrepreneurial achievements and the innovative ideas of the enterprises with regards to developing of international markets. The overall history of the export strategy as well as extraordinary ideas and export initiatives played a particularly important role.
