Mit dem PICO820 bringt AXIOMTEK sein erstes Board im neuen kompakten
2.5“ Formfaktor und den Maßen 100 x 72 mm auf dem Embedded Markt.
Das auf Intels Atom™ Z500 CPU basierende Pico-ITX Board zeichnet sich
durch eine geringe Verlustleistung aus.

Hierdurch ist eine passive, somit absolut lüfterlose Kühlung möglich.
Für die Stromversorgung werden lediglich +5V benötigt.
Intels Atom™ Z500 Serie unterstützt SSE3, Hyper Threading Technologie und Intels Virtualization Technologie.Das Chipset arbeitet mit Intels System Controller Hub US15W.
Der integrierte Intel® GMA 500 Grafikchip bietet 3D Performance und unterstützt CRT und 18/24bit LCDs.

Darüber hinaus stehen auf dem PICO820 Gigabit LAN, 4x USB2.0, 2x serial I/O, S-ATA, CompactFlash, SD Card Slot,HD Audio und Video zur Verfügung. Der Speicher kann bis zu 1GB DDR2 SO-DIMM ausgebaut werden.
