Die B. Braun Melsungen AG hat eine aktuelle Übersicht ihrer PVC-freien Produkte für die Medikamentenapplikation veröffentlicht.

Sie beinhaltet unter anderem die PVC-freien Produktausführungen folgender Produktgruppen: Infusionsgeräte, Infusionsfilter, Dreiwegehähne, Hahnbänke, Perfusor-Leitungen und -Spritzen.

PVC ist ein Kunststoff, der unter anderem zur Herstellung von Medizinprodukten verwendet wird. Um die Flexibilität des Materials Polyvinylchlorids (PVC) zu erhalten, werden Weichmacher benötigt, die negativen Einfluss auf die Wirksamkeit von Medikamenten und die Gesundheit haben können.

Da die Nachfrage nach komplett PVC-freien Produkten in den vergangenen Jahren zugenommen hat, hat B. Braun eine Übersicht PVC-freier Produkte für die Arzneimittelzubereitung und -applikation erstellt.
